CANVAS, an alternative metal band from Whittier, CA, started as an instrumental band in 2019 and added singer Andre Vargas in 2021 to complete the “CANVAS” sound. Drawing inspiration from bands like Deftones and Tool, CANVAS seeks to make music for those who listen with an open-mind while simultaneously headbanging to hard grooves.

DESPERATE MEASURES are new to the Alternative Rock and Punk scene hailing from Whittier, California. Armed with a sound as big as Muse, the grittiness of punk and grunge with a twist of synths to top their sound off, they want to show the world the feeling of having to grow up in a world which has been flipped upside down. With lyrics consisting of fearing the fact that the world can plunge into catastrophe at any moment, to rebelling against social expectations people have of each other. They aim to give an insight on the perspective of struggling to become an adult in the world we live in today.
